CrossFit Curious! - Sharp Edge Physical Therapy Clients Only

“What is CrossFit Curious?”

CrossFit Curious is an hour-long CrossFit class led by Heather and Nick.

A little background on us:

• Heather has been doing CrossFit for four years.

• Nick has been doing CrossFit for five years, is a CrossFit Level 2 Instructor, and has been coaching at Sharp Edge for four years.

• We both strongly believe in CrossFit and its methodology for creating strong, capable, and fit humans.

“But… What is CrossFit”

If you’ve never tried it—or if you think it’s some intimidating, extreme workout for only the super fit—let’s break it down.

CrossFit is defined as:

“Constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity across broad time and modal domains.”

That’s a mouthful, so here’s what it really means:

It emphasizes functional movements—things you’ve likely done in PT, like deadlifts, squats, and presses. These movements mirror real-life activities and help build a strong foundation.

It’s constantly varied—which means:

• It never gets boring.

• You develop a well-rounded level of fitness.

• Workouts range from short and intense to longer endurance-based sessions, from heavy lifts to bodyweight exercises. You get everything.

It’s built on intensity—because to create change, we need to push ourselves. If you’ve been through PT, you know this! The best part? You don’t need to work out for hours a day—CrossFit gives you the biggest bang for your buck in just a few weekly classes.

“Is CrossFit for me?”

YES. CrossFit is for everyone. Every workout can be modified to your specific needs and fitness level. You do not have to be fit to start—that’s the whole point. You deserve fitness, and we believe CrossFit is the best way to build it.

If you’re recovering from an injury, don’t worry—we love finding ways to create fitness through injury. Everything is modifiable. Come!

We are so excited—hope you are too!
